FC Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal received the Kopa Trophy for the world's best young male player under 21 at the Ballon d'Or ceremony in London on October 26, 2026. The 19-year-old made history by becoming the first player to win the award three times consecutively, adding to his previous triumphs in 2024 and 2025.
Yamal claimed the trophy following an impressive title-winning campaign with Barcelona in 2025–26, during which he registered 24 goals and 18 assists in 45 appearances while winning both La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup.
