Dominic Solanke scored a stoppage-time header as ten-man Tottenham Hotspur fought back to draw 1-1 with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Dominic Solanke scored a stoppage-time equaliser to help 10-man Tottenham Hotspur draw 1-1 against Manchester United at Old Trafford. Bryan Mbeumo had put United ahead in the 73rd minute before Spurs were reduced to ten men when Rodrigo Bentancur received a straight red card in the 78th minute.
Solanke outfought Lisandro Martínez to head home Sandro Tonali's cross in the 91st minute to salvage a dramatic point. Manchester United manager Michael Carrick expressed his frustration after the final whistle, stating: “I am massively disappointed with the result, for sure. A mixed performance. I'm not happy with the amount of points that we've had so far.”
