Kane double sinks Czechia, Spain win late at Croatia, Saudi Arabia take the Gulf Cup, Messi bows out with a goal

Harry Kane scored twice in England's 3-0 win over Czechia, Spain came from behind to beat Croatia 2-1, Saudi Arabia beat the UAE 2-0 in the Gulf Cup final, and Lionel Messi scored in Argentina's 3-0 win over Benin in his farewell match.

Harry Kane scored twice as England beat Czechia 3-0 at Wembley in the UEFA Nations League on 6 October. A Vladimir Coufal own goal put England ahead in the first half, and Kane added two more, according to ESPN and Al Jazeera. Al Jazeera reports it was his 125th cap, equalling Peter Shilton's record for England appearances, and that England now have nine points in Group A3.

In Split, Spain came from behind to beat Croatia 2-1. Ivan Perisic put Croatia ahead in the first half, and substitute Mikel Merino equalised in the second half and scored a late winner. Perisic was sent off before the end, ESPN and Flashscore report.

In Jeddah, Saudi Arabia beat the UAE 2-0 in the final of the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup, with goals from Hammam Al-Hammami and Firas Al-Buraikan inside the first quarter of an hour, according to Wikipedia and VAVEL. VAVEL adds that it is Saudi Arabia's first Gulf Cup title in 22 years and that a UAE penalty was overturned by VAR.

In Buenos Aires, Argentina beat Benin 3-0 in Lionel Messi's farewell match. Both World Soccer Talk and Bolavip report that he scored a penalty for his 126th international goal; World Soccer Talk adds that he set up the first two goals.
