John Stones Scores 95th-Minute Winner as Manchester City Edge Wolves 2–1

John Stones headed home a dramatic 95th-minute winner awarded after a VAR review as Manchester City came from behind to defeat Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 at Molineux.

Manchester City secured a dramatic 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux thanks to a 95th-minute headed winner from John Stones, setting a new club record of 31 Premier League matches unbeaten.

The hosts took a shock lead in the seventh minute when Nelson Semedo deliver a pinpoint low cross to the back post, allowing Jorgen Strand Larsen to tap past Ederson. Gary O'Neil's side defended resolutely against relentless City possession, but Pep Guardiola's men drew level in the 33rd minute when Josko Gvardiol curled a stunning right-footed effort into the top corner from outside the box.

Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa produced multiple crucial saves to keep the scores level deep into second-half stoppage time. However, in the 95th minute, Phil Foden delivered an outswinging corner that Stones met with a towering header. The goal was initially reviewed by VAR for offside due to Bernardo Silva standing close to Sa, but referee Chris Kavanagh confirmed the on-field decision after inspecting the pitchside monitor, ruling Silva did not impede the goalkeeper's line of sight.
